Get Your Marathon Training on Track!
Renata Bossi | Jul. 18, 2023As part of our pursuit to help runners of all fitness levels improve their overall performance, technique, and speed in preparation for the 2023 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, we are excited to announce that we are relaunching our weekly training sessions!
From next week Thursday, the 27th of July, we will be hosting complimentary track sessions in Cape Town (at the Western Province Athletics Stadium) and Johannesburg (at UJ Stadium in Westdene), as well as commencing our Saturday Long Runs from rotating Virgin Active gyms in Cape Town on the 29th July, leading all the way up to race week.
Our dedicated partners have jumped on board to amplify these training activations from start to finish, with adidas running shoes available to test drive, Virgin Active trainers hyping up the warm-ups and cool-downs, and a refreshing Powerade from PenBev awaiting runners at the end of each session.
With the support of Sanlam in Joburg and Western Province Athletics in the Cape, as well as Wietse se Run on two of our long runs, we cannot wait to grow the tight-knit training communities established last year, that runners can lean on for their marathon training support.
Sign up HERE* to get your training on track in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
*You can expect weekly communication via WhatsApp with the details of each session
